Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic had a profound effect on societies worldwide. Now, nearly a year after the pandemic ended, it is clear that this challenging period brought about lasting changes. This paper aimed to investigate these changes and predict future trends in consumer behaviour. The research findings are derived from a survey conducted with a representative sample of consumers from the chosen country. This approach ensured that the results were based entirely on consumers' opinions and experiences. The data revealed that the most enduring change in consumer behaviour is the shift towards online shopping and a preference for food delivery. Conversely, the trend of preferring to shop alone, which was significant during the pandemic, has completely vanished.
